Play Cloths Mixtape

Clipse, one of my favorite rap groups, just released this mixtape to promote their new clothing line, Play Cloths. Re-Up Gang’s (Clipse+ Ab-Liva and  Sandman) last mixtape (We Got It 4 Cheap Vol. 3) had some heavy stuff, but this one goes much can feel that Hell Hath No Fury vibe on the majority of the beats they’ve chosen.

The mixtape, resulting of a partnership with Complex Magazine, is completely free, get it here. For the covers, or just to hear the records on stream, go here.

Although these guys are accused of promoting drug dealing in their songs (and let’s be honest, the main topic on their songs is money and coke), they still bring that crazy wordplay, that intense flow and that heavy swagger on every track, specially Pusha T.
This is not for the conscious minds or the “tree huggers” like they say, “it’s for players all over the world”, for the street corner boys. But it’s still good music so check it!
