Mark Mahon

One of the coolest cats I got to know this week.

He is competing in the Festival with his first movie ever as a director, titled Strength and Honour, and he has some big names starring on it, like Vinnie Jones and Michael Madsen. Madsen is actually here now for the weekend, to receive a Career Achievement award.

But about Mark, he’s this funny and very talkative Irish guy, and was really excited ’bout his film. Everyone had a laugh with him, and he personally told me that Madsen is a close friend and the godfather to his son. Funny fact.

I haven’t seen the movie yet, some of my colleagues already told me it’s not that good, but considering that it’s a first work, I’ll give it a chance later.
